Removal step 1-Prepping for removal:- Begin by disconnecting the battery. Then use a lifting platform that is capable of raising the body separately from the wheels. Lift the body at the lifting points prescribed by the vehicle manufacturer

Removal step 2-Wheel removal:- Start by removing the wheels lug nuts, once the lug nuts are removed carefully take off the wheel.

Removal step 3-Removing the electrical connections:- Locate the electrical connectors and remove the retaining clip. Slide the electrical connector out and backwards. Separate the two electrical connectors follow the wires and remove

Removal step 4-Removing the OEM Air Shock:- Remove the airline. Remove all three mounting nuts. Using pliers remove the sensor wire-guide. Locate the brake line holder and clip the cable ties. Remove the brake line holder. Locate and loosen the set screws. Loosen up the upper A arm bolt using a ball joint splitter separate the A-arm from the knuckle assembly. Pull down on the knuckle assembly. Lift and remove the shock.

Install step 1-Installing the remanufactured Arnott air shock:- Insert the new shock to be mounted. Pull down on the knuckle assembly to get the lower ball joint under the shock. Reattach the upper a-arm to the knuckle assembly. Tighten the ball joint to the manufacturer’s specifications. Reinstall and tighten the set screws. Reattach the sensor wire guide. Reinstall the brake line holder with the supplied cable ties. Reconnect the electrical connectors. Install the retaining clip. Tighten the top three mounting nuts to the manufacturer’s specifications. Install the airline and tighten just passed finger tight.

Install step 2-Installing the wheel:- Install the wheel and tighten the lug nuts to the manufacturer’s specifications.

Install step 3-Finishing the installation:- Lower the vehicle to standard vehicle height from the lifting platform. Reconnect the battery.

Install step 4-Testing:- Start the engine, wait two minutes, operate the raising function and the cars electronics. Initially lower the lifting platform slowly and only completely when the vehicle rises of its own accord. Check the shock for leaks. It is strongly recommended after this install, the vehicle gets an alignment for better performance and safety.
