For nuts less than 2 5/8″ 200-300 ft. lbs. and nuts greater than 2 5/8″ 300-400 ft. lbs, install the dial indicator and check in play. In play should be within 1 – 5000′s of an inch. If the play is not within specs re-adjust the inner nut to obtain the correct in play.
