I Always keep a pair of Channel Lock Pliers’ in my back pocket when I’m work for quick and easy access when I need to egg shape and copper fitting to stay in place. Always egg shape it when the fitting is on the pipe because if you egg shape it before that it will be hard to put on the pipe.
