In short, the BNE51-MSY is turret lathe with sub spindle design characteristics and control technology that enables 3 tools in the cut at one time with a two turret machine. New BNE51-MSY design and control supports many features -like Multi Axis Super Imposition by G-code- typically found only in Swiss type machines.
The machine was a home run hit with –AE, Programmers and Operators- at the show who know both Swiss and Turret lathes programming and processing. Mitsubishi Materials provided tools shown in the demo. For the video, holes produced with the MVX drill were -drilled 1st with coolant and then re-filmed in proper machine sequence running dry.
