How To Install a Rear & Upgrade Brakes on Hands-On Cars 12 + AMX Concept Car! Eastwood



In this episode of Hands-On Cars, Kevin Tetz shows you how to upgrade an old Chevy 10 bolt rear and brakes while working on his 1978 Camaro Z/28. Plus he visits Blast From The Past where they’re building their version of a late 60s AMX Concept Car!

He welds the axle tubes to the housing with an Eastwood MIG 175 and then upgrades to Moser Street Axles. Plus he eliminates the open differential and replaces it with an Eaton True Trac clutchless locking differential.

The rear is sprayed with Eastwood 2K Chassis Black paint and protects the yoke with Eastwood Exo Armour.

Blast From The Past in Pottstown, PA is building a bunch of cool cars, including a late 60′s AMX Concept car that’s somewhat of a cross between a Gremlin and a Javelin.

The Camaro is then upgraded to disc brakes and QA1 Shocks.
