In this video, one of our resident fastener specialists demonstrates how to install POP rivets (Blind rivets), specifically, 1/4″ diameter structural rivets. Bob shows how structural rivets must be installed and the tool that is designed specifically for their installation: the Lever Hand Riveter, aka the “Bolt Cutter” Rivet tool. This Rivet Tool is used to install blind rivets up to 1/4″ diameter, where most other styles of riveters only have a 3/16″ diameter rivet capacity.
